Calling owners of 13" Unibody Macbooks and new 13" MacBook Pros
So I had a 13" MacBook unibody 2.0. It was great. I got it in late May and found out I also had a better screen (apple started using better screens mid-April) That was neat!

When I upgraded to a 500 HD, I noticed in system profiler>Serial ATA that it was 3.0 Gigabit, neat again!
But it didn't have firewire.
SO i just picked up the 13" MacBook Pro to replace it.
First thing I notice is the worse viewing angles.
Then I'm in system profiler and it says that the Serial ATA is only 1.5 Gigabit.
What gives? Will I be surprised anywhere else?
(and this has the noisier smurf superdrive instead of the HL-DT-ST DVDRW... ugh... i'm never happy)

Go back to your old computer and stop complaining. It's what I would do.

It's your money. Do whatever you feel like. Hey I have a great idea. You can send me that 13'' Pro to me and I give my extremely thin Air to my dad. And you go back to your old computer. Which is not so old. That way we both win.
