Re: OS 3.0
If it's scheduled for availability at midnight, that's likely 12:00 Pacific time. Apple's in CA, remember?
I assumed you knew when it was going live.

Wouldn't June 17th mean 9am California time, like all of their scheduled events?

They'll release it at noon or so, you know, when Apple has workers available to do these kinds of things
But I can tell ya, 3.0 is great so far.

I'm still iPhoneless, and OS 3.0-less.
This thread reminds me of Der Furher's comment during the fall of 1944. "Is Paris burning?"
So "Is it downloading?"

Re: OS 3.0
Boy this takes me back to the days before OS X.
I remember downloading the newest releas of the Mac OS, from 2 through 8. It would take hours sometimes to get onto a download site. They were always busy for the first week. And it would take hours to download a new version.

Re: OS 3.0
hee hee hee, I got into dial-up just after the 300 Baud modems were flooding the market! Fast! And then the super fast 1200 Baud!
The differerence was starteling. You could read messages online as they appeared, but with a 1200 they scrolled by too fast!
Genie was my favorite site, with Air Warrior, and such.
