Exporting Quicktime Pro files.
Exporting QuickTime Pro files in different formats, but having problems with with audio playback in Itunes.
Please let me know what I'm doing wrong or do i need to upgrade?
Quicktime Pro Version 7.5.5 (249.13)
Exported:
1.
Movie to iPod with default settings
2.
Movie to MPEG-4 with file formats: MP4 and MP4 (ISMA)
VIDEO formats: MPEG-4 basic and MPEG-4 Improved
AUDIO: No audio track in source movie
3.
VIDEO format: .MOV with MPEG-4 compression blah blah.
iTunes 8.0.2 (20)
Tried to add to itunes all these ways and then some, but Still no AUDIO comes in!

Moving to Everyday Tech (help Q&A forum) since it'll get more looks there.
No idea what's wrong though.

Forget trying to guess your way to iTunes/iPod compatibility and just use iSquint, VisualHub, or Handbrake.

iSquint is defunct but still available. VisualHub is defunct & unavailable. Handbrake 0.9.3 only works on Leopard but does accept a wider set of than it's predecessors. Handbrake 0.9.1 works for Tiger but only accepts DVDs as an input. There is an open source replacement version of the defunct VisualHub called Transcoder Redux but it's an alpha release at this point.
