Re: "Missing" South Carolina Gov or "publicity" stunt ?
So you can call yourself a news station and purposely mislead people with untrue information meant to manipulate the masses of idiots? (So what we've all been saying and a few denying is true!)
Just what exactly is the FCC for? Other than to censor. A self proclaimed "news station" should be held to higher standards, and when it comes to these specific standards, violation of such standards should levy fines even more substantial than the ridiculous fines imposed currently for other much milder offenses.

There is significant overlap. There are also a third and fourth group on this Venn Diagram, "reasonable people" and "faithful people" which overlap but no category fully contains any other or fully excludes.

Re: "Missing" South Carolina Gov or "publicity" stunt ?
The unreasonable always consider themselves reasonable. However, I'd say this is actually a case of reasonable people inexplicably throwing reason out the window in regards to one subject.
It's not their fault, though. The early childhood conditioning is very powerful.

There's a difference between putting your faith in reason and putting faith into all your reasoning.
In any case, people of reason are people you can reason with.

Indeed. The idea that only "people of faith" need an apology from this smurfhead is disgusting.
It's this jerk's "faith" that tells him that gays getting married is so harmful to marriage that laws should be written to prevent it.
Did gay marriage force him ointo the arms of an Argentinian lover??

You've got to love this. Courtesy of Rush Limbaugh:
"This is almost like, 'I don't give a damn, the country's going to Hell in a handbasket, I just want out of here,'" said Limbaugh. "He had just tried to fight the stimulus money coming to South Carolina. He didn't want any part of it. He lost the battle. He said, 'What the Hell. I mean, I'm -- the federal government's taking over -- what the Hell, I want to enjoy life.'"
"The point is," he added, "there are a lot of people whose spirit is just -- they're fed up, saying to Hell with it, I don't even want to fight this anymore, I just want to get away from it."

Re: "Missing" South Carolina Gov or "publicity" stunt ?
Wow. Originally the Governor planned to spend 10 days in Buenos Aires:
Exclusive: Sanford booked 10-day getaway
On or around the day his wife asked him to move out, South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford booked a ten-day trip to Buenos Aires, a person familiar with the governor's travel plans told POLITICO.
Sanford booked the trip on Delta Air Lines on June 10, using the company's SkyMiles program, the source said. He bought a ticket for June 18, returning June 28.
Jenny Sanford said yesterday, June 24, that she'd "asked my husband to leave two weeks ago."
Sanford's trip was cut short after the local press raised questions about his absence, but the dates offer a glimpse into both his decision to depart as his marriage frayed, and after months of counseling.
The bookings also cast light on the governor's recklessness, and his belief, or hope, that he could vanish from the state for well over a week without raising questions about his absence.
He spent his time in Buenos Aires in Palermo, a fashionable residential neighborhood, and was not, reportedly, a recluse: He was seen in the local bar, Guido's, with Maria Belen Chapur last week.

Number one Google search result for "Maria Belen Chapur" ?
"A Million Monkeys Are Googling 'María Belén Chapur'"
Jesus said to the servants, "Fill the jars with water"; so they filled them to the brim. Then he told them, "Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet." They did so, and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew.
