Load Mx on Slave Drive

Hiya; I loaded Mx on a second drive, trying to keep C for OS only..not really going that way
Acrobat wants to reside on there & now apparently so does Mx
...is there a work around for this or do I have to start cluttering up C with programs
cheers & thanx

Re: Load Mx on Slave Drive

Maybe I'm clueless, but your discription of what you want to do is leaving me in a cloud of dust.

You seem to be using Windows disk notation for your Mac disks.

It sounds like you want to move your applications off of the boot disk and have them reside on your secondary drive. Is that correct?

Re: Load Mx on Slave Drive

So this is solely a Windows OS question?

Re: Load Mx on Slave Drive

Maybe he's talking about Macromedia Studio MX? Old as dirt, but it may be possible. Have no idea whay he's referring to the C drive if he's using a Mac, though.

He is installing it on a pc not a mac ... Which confuses me as to why he came to maclife to ask a pc question

Re: Load Mx on Slave Drive

yak, if you would give the OS that you are trying to install with that will clarify the situation a bit. If the OS is Windows then I will move this thread to Boot Camp, since it has more affinity there than this forum.
