The kid was writhing around on the ground, but that is typical of this type of thing, and most certainly takes place when there really are demons (I'm not saying there were in this case, I don't know).

Most people have no clue about spiritual reality, and I think most who SUPPOSE they are casting out demons...are simply able to notice some but unable to truly help.  People, this is why America needs to throw back the perversion that is being pushed on the people.  If you want there to be people who truly CAN help, there needs to be an environment conducive to that.  If someone ever shows up with real power from God, they will likely be holy and above the lustful ways of many Americans.  Even christians joke about "full"-gospel preachers with big bellies. 
If you want to see God's power in your life, people need to live godly, holy lives -- not that they'll be prefect, but doing wrong or lust hinders a person's conscience before a perfect God.  Being with God close to them and working through them is how real miracles and casting out of demons will happen, I think.  That's MY 2 cents-worth.

Yeah, minors can total consent to being subjected to assault and battery.

When a demon is cast out, "seizure" like symptoms are not uncommon.
I wouldn't be surprised if they had a similar cause - excessive firing of the neurons in the brain.

Not all seizures are epileptic in nature, there are many causes for a seizure, epilepsy is but one of them.

So is your epilepsy due to too many demons?

Well, if epilepsy is considered a disability like blindness then the good book would indicate that his epilepsy would be the consequence of his parents being wicked in the eyes
of Yahweh.

My grandma thought my cousin was possessed by a demon, and had her church convinced of this. It turned out he was likely suffering from depression.

This part of the family lives in a 3rd world country, by the way.
