Last September, record rainfall came down on the entire Chi area- hurricane remnants one night, Pacific storm leftovers a day later. 60 billion gallons... there's a creek half a block away; the sewers connect to it.
Ma Nature put the sewer thru my yard & into my basement, knocking out appliances for good measure. I did get a working furnace by Xmas, after the in-house temp dropped below 40F. Whee.

That's one possible explanation that some folks have put forward, but many disagree with it. Especially troubling is the needle-like appendage that can be seen retracting into at least two of the organisms in the video.

The other thing that it looks like, it an endoscopy of some kind. Thats what I originally thought it was.

Yeah, but you can see the sewer's floor and other flat surfaces, so I'd say it's definitely not somebody's insides that we're looking at.
