Logitech MX 1000. They don't make it anymore nor do they have a superior offering now. So I hope this thing never dies.

Logitech V470 Cordless Laser Mouse.

At least that's what Logitech calls it. I just call it my mouse.

White top, so it'll go with your Mac (probably). The scroll wheel's very smooth, none of that clicking action you get with some mice. I recommend it.

Maybe I've been assimilated by advertising, but my "Laser Mouse" seems a bit more sensitive than optical mice

The MX Revolution. Steermouse makes a small utility that allows the wheel to do what it would in windows, but with one added feature. It can actually spin free, no detents. I really like this feature, as does everyone else who has used it. I had it on my PC first, while trying others including Mighty mouse on the Mac, but when I discovered Steermouse, that was it. Their site is,

http://www.apple.com/downloads/macosx/d … mouse.html  or

http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/

and they have special instructions for the wheel. if you get one, do not hesitate to email me.

Re: Looking for a new mouse. Which one do you use?

I bought a Logitech VX Revolution (wireless). It's supposed to be a notebook mouse but it's big enough to be comfy as a desktop mouse. For wired, the Logitech MX400 is very good.

Logitech V470. Bluetooth, compact, not too expensive, and laser (not optical). Pretty good Mac driver (cursor does jump a little once in a while), all good other than that.
