...and why skip over comparisons to every-other "Western" country?  That's what make these comparisons so terribly disingenuous.

The object isn't to warn of the supposed "threat" of greater government control, it's to mention Obama in the same breath as nazis and iran and Chavez.

But not in modern Sweden, France, and the UK where there are expanded governments that have a lot of control ?

Several attempts to unify Europe from one country have failed, so now the attempt to do so is being done through the EU instead - which is increasing in power but not yet to the point where a Europe power grab will work.

Grabbing control of France only gets you france. Napolean grabbed France and tried to grab Europe and failed.
Grabbing control of Germany only gets you Germany. Hitler grabbed Germany and tried to gran Europe and failed.
They need to let the EU strengthen - and then the oppressive power grab will be done through the EU.

A power grab on any one of those countries would be premature.

Well, to be fair, since Hitler and all the other Nazis were humans, basically being human alone provide the potential for abuse.

There are a wide variety of comparisons you could make to draw out a potential something, because potential somethings never have to deliver. Potentiality never points towards any definite goal, thats the role that is usually played by intention. So, what are the implications that seem to indicate some actual intention towards the future scenario that you find disturbing? Maybe if you could explain that people would understand your worry.

I was going to let this slide, but I am getting annoyed of being said that I am someone I am not. The person Cyberpawz is my computer tech, or let me rephrase that, when I have a computer problem I call him over.

He told me a out this site, he showed me how to work this site by logging in on my computer. He said the site is good to use if I need help that dosent require help from him to manually fix.

He logged into his a count to show me the way to set up privacy settings etc... He is a computer tech, I work as a boot strapper, and consultant. I know enough about computers to be dangerous, but not enough to get myself out of trouble.

He told me how to take care of my mac, he told me terminal commands etc to run to clean my computer up, but I am no Mac Genius like he was...

I don't care, you are just another person on another forum that has nothing better to do than look at ips and accus people of being people they are not, or in English a small minded child that does nothing more than spam topics and accuse people of being people they are not.

I think it's highly unlikely that you simply know cyberpawz and aren't actually him.  I guessed you were cyberpawz based on your writing style and attitude.  It would be a pretty big coincidence if you just happened to know the guy I was referring to.

Perhaps it is because we grew up together, and his family took me once in a while when I was growing up because I had an abusive family. I lived with his family more than mine, his mother taught us how to read and write, so I wouldn't be amazed that we have similar writing styles.

Sorry, I'm not him, although we do carry some of the same ideals, he us more right wing nut than I am. My past is not something I like bringing up.

Perhaps it is to keep people from placing doubt in the mind of those who haven't read the bill themselves?

For doubt can be the biggest enemy in a courtroom, and a consituancy that refuses to be truly educated.
