Re: Singing voice as "instrument"???
if you don't mind recording it first then converting it to midi .. that can be done in Logic.
2.66Ghz QuadCore-Nehalem w/24"LED CD ---2.2Ghz BlackMB---15" 2.4Ghz MBP(work)
Dual 2.3Ghz G5 (4G Ram, 2x 250G HD)(10.5 server)--- 400Mhz G4 PM (10.4 Server)
1.5GHz Powerbook---1.6Ghz G5 iMac

Re: Singing voice as "instrument"???
Thanks for your tip!!! If this is indeed what you are telling me, then it would be HUGE for me!!!!!I wouldn't mind recording it in Logic at all. By the way, how difficult is it to convert to "midi" and what other "software or tool are needed to pull this off???

Re: Singing voice as "instrument"???
Logic can do it out of the box.
It's not really difficult but its a "your results will vary" situation. Just like any other software that does *that sort of thing.
*audio to midi conversion.

Interesting idea. Let us know if it works out for you, I might be interested in giving it a try myself.
