Taxx, I need some dirt on Belgium
We're working on reports in my government class about how other countries' governments work.
I chose Belgium because it's cool
but also because you (Taxx) live there, and I figured it would be cool to get the inside scoop, so to speak.
So if you know any good websites or can get something in-person, that would be sweet!
I'd pop into irc, but I'm in class right now, and they have this lame software that stops you from opening any unauthorized programs...
I'll catch you after school.

Re: Taxx, I need some dirt on Belgium
Start by going here: http://www.belgium.be/eportal/index.jsp
Then you can go to most major cities by just doing www.<thecity>.be
eg: the city where i live (Gent) -> www.gent.be
other good cities are: antwerpen, brussel, limburg, brugge, charleroi, ..
if you wanna go all politics here are some (though I don't think they have english translations of their sites):
www.agalev.be (the green party)
www.vlaamsblok.be (the brown party aka the racists)
www.cvp.be (the catholics, now cd&v)
www.spa.be (socialists)
www.spirit.be (the alternatives)
www.ecolo.be (the green from southern belgium)
www.vld.be (liberals, kind of like the republicans in the US)
there are more, smaller ones, but I think you'll have enough lecture with these, or translation work.
If you wanna know more contact me, I bet you know my email address
or on IRC or on AIM
Nice for you to so something about Belgium, while the weather is boring, there are quite some activities here
