OS 10.5.8 upgrade. Cover Flow intrudes-how you can "fix" it.
Upgraded to OS10.5.8, ran Repair Disc Permissions and Disc Warrior (I do this routinely with any download--saves curses!) and when I hit Safari Bookmarks I'm faced with all these graphics that I cannot read. 3 1/2 hours of frustration later, Mac Tech support finally agrees I have 400+ hours of support left and answers the problem of "sorry, you can't get rid of Cover Flow as it's a "new feature" (God save me from NEW Features)" So I see partially hidden in the black of Cover Flow at the bottom right hand corner a little triangle that allow me to scrunch Cover Flow up into a sort of thin line at the top of Bookmarks. It's not gone, but no longer intrusive. Tom

WUT!?
Cover flow is optional. You can change the view with the icons at the top left of finder windows, or with the view menu.
It's also optional in iTunes.

Come again? Was the problem weird graphics displayed in Cover Flow or that your eyes could not decipher what was in the pictures. I am lost here!

if you are talking about the coverflow view in safari bookmarks then grab the bottom of the black bar and shove it all the way to the top. no more coverflow

Just like this:
Notice the three white bars under the Apple graphic? Drag that up.
Graphic gone.
