(Ex-) Miss California sues Miss USA pageant
Lewis claimed Miss Prejean’s termination was due to a violation of contract. Miss Prejean’s complaint will refute that allegation, and demonstrate that both the chronology and factual evidence clearly show she lived up to all her contractual obligations, but was fired, harassed and publicly attacked solely due to her religious beliefs.
Charles S. LiMandri, attorney for Miss Prejean, released the following statement regarding the complaint:“Over the past two months we have worked hard to provide overwhelming evidence that Carrie Prejean did not violate her contract with Miss California USA and did not deserve to have her title revoked by Keith Lewis. We will make the case that her title was taken from her solely because of her support of traditional marriage. Keith Lewis has refused to clear her good name or even to admit any wrongdoing. Therefore, Carrie Prejean is left with no alternative but to take her case to court where she expects to be fully vindicated.”
Oh, it ain't over yet!

Uh...
Is Limandri working pro-bono, or assuming a 'settlement' – "A Piece of The Action". Otherwise, who's picking up the tab? I don't see a 'Prejean Legal Fund' via search.
Maybe it'll be Larry Flynt.

What does it matter who is picking it up.
Assuming she was wronged (I'm not saying she was), should justice only be available to those with a "legal fund" ??
However, I suspect he's doing it for the same reason many lawyers do high profile cases - it gets his name out there.

Looks like in general he's what they call 'an ambulance chaser'. Weird, that. Ain't there perpertual foment from the right for tort reform and all them lawyers fees?

What point are you trying to make?
That someone who believes she was fired in violation of the first amendment (what she alleges I presume) shouldn't have a lawyer?

No, his point was that an attorney with "traditional conservative values" would typically not specialize in representing plaintiffs in frivolous personal injury lawsuits.
This was not my experience in The South, however; lots of Bible-thumping lawyers didn't mind having their face on the cover of the phone book.

I was so depressed last night thinking about the economy, wars, jobs, my savings, Social Security, retirement funds, etc., I called the Suicide Lifeline. I got a call center in Pakistan, and when I told them I was suicidal, they got all excited, and asked if I could drive a truck.

That would be a terrible argument--the pageant is private, not a government entity. The First Amendment doesn't apply.
According to the article:
The complaint cites damages to Miss Prejean including libel, public disclosure of private facts, religious discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.

Private companies may not fire someone because of their religious view.
Maybe the argument isn't constitutional, but if they did what she alleges (and I'm not saying they did, but I can see how a case could be made that they did) is true, it was a violation of law - private company or not.

Probably not - their recourse for that is to fire her, which they did.

Well then, wrongful termination wouldn't be part of:
...libel, public disclosure of private facts, religious discrimination, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.
She'd have to prove that Trump/NBC–Universal had P.Hilton cast his query on purpose. A conspiracy!

No.
Her termination had nothing to do with Hilton.
It may have had something to do with the fallout of her political viewpoints being exposed.
And I say may have - because she strikes me as somewhat of a ditz.
