I received an email message this morning from Mac|Life Promotions with the subject line 'Meet Neat. Get free shipping' promoting the product 'NeatDesk for Mac.' The product looks interesting for my purposes, and I was interested in reading a review of it on the Mac|Life website. Surprisingly, I couldn't find one.

So here's an idea, how about the Mac|Life staff write reviews of products before advertisements get pushed to subscribers who sign up to receive them?
