Should I upgrade to iphoto 5?

I have iphoto 2 and idvd3 was wondering what added features does iphoto 5 and idvd 5 have and is it worth upgrading?

Why version 5? That's like 4 years old now. Does your system not support iLife '09? That would be the only reason not to upgrade.

Well, 5 is probably less bloaty than 9.

...but more bloaty than 2. Much of that bloat is useful features. Determining what features were added in which version sounds like a chore.

System 6's finder had all the photo management features I need. Everything since has been bloat. tongue

I have a G4 MDD with tiger and ilife 9 imovie would not work with my computer and I don't want to buy something that I won't be able to use all of it.
