Now THAT'S a water hazard
http://www.islandpacket.com/news/local/ … 96623.html
Overall I am not a fan of golf, but if more water hazards had gators in them I just might tune in.
Packs of wolves or maybe a puma or a bear roaming the course might make the game more exciting too. Killer bees or poisonous snakes could add ooomph to the broadcast as well.
Just once I'd like to see Tiger just try to make par when he has to contend with a real tiger.

Daaayumn! That boy got his arm bit off! Who knew you could have an arm re-attached after getting it bit off and swallowed? I wouldn't expect it to be all that common for somebody in that guy's age group to even survive dismemberment, let alone have any hope of getting his member back!
And what about the 59 year old snorkeler who also got his arm bit off? I've never been snorkeling in my life, but even I can tell you rule number one is don't go snorkeling with carnivores that weigh three times as much as you do!

Yeah, normally gators avoid people but what happens is people start feeding them and then the gators start associating people with food. It's a serious problem.

I thought they avoided people when they are on land.
Once in water -or part of you is in water- they'll bite anything that might make a nice lunch.

If you splash around around in water you may invoke a predator response, just like if you run when you encounter a cougar, but they generally avoid people in water as well. There is a long history of humans hunting animals, most animals instinctively avoid humans.

but shooting the guide in the foot works in bear country, so it should work on the local golf course.

Got to make a real sport of it. Traditional golf gear only. No guns.
You can run the gator over with the gold cart if you want -fight the bear off with a 5 Iron.
Water hazard will also have Piranhas (or maybe ill tempered sea bass). sand traps need scorpions.
