On the breakwater

The other day in my new town of Petoskey, Michigan, my girlfriend and I witnessed a guy jogging on top of the breakwater of the marina during a storm.   If he had been out there a few minutes later when the wind picked up, he would have been washed off into the harbor.

We guessed he was either paid to run out there or he was from out of town.

Re: On the breakwater

Who would pay somebody to do that? Maybe he's just crazy or stupid or really, really into physical fitness?

Re: On the breakwater

I got washed off a break water once. Not something I would like to do again.

Lakes like lac Michigan have always made me feel nervous.  Something about having a potential lee shore to every side of you all the time just doesn't seem right...
