Have you seen This Man?
http://thisman.org/
Very interesting. However, this part of the story:
"That portrait lies forgotten on the psychiatrist's desk for a few days until one day another patient recognizes that face and says that the man has often visited him in his dreams. He also claims he has never seen that man in his waking life.
The psychiatrist decides to send the portrait to some of his colleagues that have patients with recurrent dreams. Within a few months, four patients recognize the man as a frequent presence in their own dreams."
...does not ring true. On a gut level, it just feels too much like the types of urban myths and "glurge" stories that frequently get debunked on Snopes.com. Hmmm... I wonder if Snopes has an entry on This Man?

Looking at all those pics of flyers all over the world, and considering the fact that you can print your own flyers from their "downloads" page, I have to wonder if this is some "meta" art project.
What we need to do is find some guy who's balding and has a unibrow and get him to come forward and admit to being This Man.
Which reminds me...
I happen to be That Guy.

I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

More like 4chan's /b/.
They've been talking for awhile of doing something like slapping a date on papers and fliers and sticking it out into communities, no threats, no doom talk, just a date.
But this seems too mundane for them, even if most of /b/s socially active denizens are geriatric by now.

As a child, I loved Kolchak, but found it very confusing that the name sounded so much like Kojak. You'd think whoever came up with the series would have been smart enough to give the character a less confusing name. Oh well.
