I don't think Phynonymous Deleaux was stereotyping.
There is a huge problem with anti-intellectualism among black youth. Those who attempt to succeed in school are ridiculed, bullied, and outcast for "acting white." It is a remarkably parallel situation to evangelical christianity, where those who attempt to embrace science and logic are ridiculed, bullied, and outcast for "acting liberal."
It is not stereotyping to make a statement about a culture that developed largely from white flight of the cities during integration. It's not black culture, it's ghetto culture. It is just more evident among black youth because thanks to white flight, more black youth are subjected to living in ghettos than white youth. The ghetto culture, like any culture, attempts to self-perpetuate. In order to do so, it needs a continuous influx of uneducated, angry people, who do not understand why they are there, just that they are there.
Anti-intellectualism is a serious pandemic in this country that is undermining the sustainability of a democratic process. The racism that allowed ghetto culture to breed must be addressed, and simply acknowledging it and saying "sorry, it won't happen again" is insufficient. The damage has been done and it must be proactively repaired.
Exactly, which is the whole point of me following up with what color you are being irrelevant. The true racists are the ones that turn a blind eye to that behavior when a black kid does it and chalks it up to "a cultural thing brah" but looks at Whitey and says "you look ridiculous, take/knock that smurf off".

Heard on the NPR science hour today that she had a quip whining to her base about "pork" in which money was spent on fruit fly research and how ridiculous it was that those liberals were wasting everyone's money.
But even I know that fruit flies are an absolute staple in neurological research. Or just biological research in general. Hell, I had to microwave a few of them for a college biology class (don't smurfing ask).

Yep, I agree with all of the above.

Society does, however, elect them to be President of the U.S.
They are accepted by black culture far better than they are accepted by white culture.
Sad but true.
And by sad, I mean sad that they aren't as accepted by white culture.
There are plenty of idiots.
