Can't Command-Q to quit... really odd
This is very strange. I can't quit via Command-Q. I simply try it in any application and it will not quit. Doesn't make the app crash or anything, it's just like nothing happened.
I can still go File->Quit though, and all other normal keyboard shortcuts work fine. Every time I clear preferences I seem to be able to do it again, but after opening and closing a few apps here and there it happens again.
Using 10.6.1. on a 15" unibody MBP.

I know that this sounds elementary but I have to ask.
Did you reboot to see if the problem still exists?
What about logging into a different account?
Those are the first two things I would do to see where the problem lies.

Solved... I use Quicksilver, and had accidentally configured Command-Q to some other nonsensical action.
Still, that would be such an epic April Fool's joke...

Glad to hear you fixed it. Command-Q is indispensable.
