Are text expansion apps dead with Snow Leopard?
Now that Snow Leopard introduces a system-wide text expansion/replacement feature, is there any reason to continue using apps like TextExpander and TypeIt4Me?

Those allow for specific words or phrases that may not be in the normal lexicon. Jargon, or technical phrases. They still have their place.
I'm not dead yet.
