imac Intel spares? Redux
Hello everybody!
Sorry to exhume this thread, but after a series of unfortunate events, I found myself in need again of one of these part. My LCD screen started last week to show vertical green lines. I have no Apple-care, so I was looking for a broken Imac Intel 17" to dismember or a new LCD panel
the details are the same as stated above
LCD:
LM171W02
(TL)(B2)
LG Philips LCD
under the two barcodes there are the following numbers:
*YC6381GNUWDA*
and under the second barcode
17169kh476348 D11
can anyone help my with my "quest"? I am looking on Ebay with no luck at all, and the web offers not much either. Moreover I live in Europe, so the shipping costs from America would make the buying unconvenient. I know that Apple is not exactly cheap, but I was searching something not too expensive. With 250 Euros I can get a second-hand working imac.
Any help would be much appreciated

You should check your local craigslist and see if anyone local has a problematic iMac from which you could salvage a working screen.
