That point about Palin is a good one. The thought of her being anywhere near The Button is kind of unsettling. Still, she's one sexy grandma, and it would have made for a heck of a sitcom. They could have called it She's the Veep.
I was listening to NPR a couple of weeks ago, and the topic was the fact that Obama's healthcare reform was in great danger of getting delayed and watered down because he was so unnecessarily bending over backwards to work with the Republicans and include their pro-corporation, anti-consumer (heck, I'll say it, anti-American) input.
So there's that.No blame for the bluedog dems though huh.
I'll bet searching for 'blue dog' in this forum will find my posts. And, not in a complimentary tone. Hell, I moved to Mike McIntyre's district. He hangs at that crazy C-Street house.
hehe, I'm pretty sure you're not NPR.
I would say if they place the blame on the Reps only they are spinning the political reality.

Re: Regarding "tea-baggers..."
I guess President Obama should be at Camp David where bush spent most of his time? Seems like either he is doing too much or too much, and sometimes, too little. It all depends on how partisan you are, right? Because things political are rarely based on reality, but instead, on hidden agendas.

OK. We won't forget that.
Again, you are trying to use Bush to distract from Obama's failings, but OK, we don't have to forget them.

Really reaching, but then it's real hate from every pore.
He spent all of 5 hours on that. Flew in, made a brief speech, flew home. Some have been saying the IOC took that as lack of respect, and helped Chicago lose- come in last, even. But then, he had larger things on his plate, didn't he?
And have you ever found it impossible to think while flying? Air Force One was built with productivity, amongst other things, in mind.
I'm pretty sure he didn't stop at the gift shoppe for in-flight reading material.

Obviously there's no way I can know what is going on in Obama's head. I'm psychotic, not psychic.
But it sure as hell looks like stalling to me.

I hear Obama also makes love to his wife regularly, thus expending his precious bodily fluids and making the entire country weaker.

One time, back when I was still using, I happened to strike up a conversation with this really scary, enraged tweaker who was violently attacking street signs. He was sure I was a cop. When I told him I was a tweaker, he said, "You're too fat to be a tweaker! And that hair? That's Halloween store blue!"

Both of these military initiatives rest firmly on the shoulders of the bush admin., who began them under the auspices of the war on terrrrrr. The overall state of the union is now in a compounded state of mega smurf because of the ways in which rent seekers have been rewarded, war profiteering is the new fashion design, and financial institutions have completely screwed everyone and then got a pass at the expense of the treasury. . . something that started under the BUSH ADMINISTRATION. . . dude. . . the treasury is frikkin empty. . . the country is so uber broken that all Obama can do is try. . . and anyone with more then three brain cells to rub together knew he wasn't going to be able to "fix this" going in. All he can do is try.
I don't like that Obama continued to bail out the banks. . . the whole thing smells like rotten fish. . . but would we have liked the alternative any better? Would 20 - 30% unemployment be preferable to what we're experiencing now?. . . and don't rule that out yet.
I don't like the fact that Obama's not vigourously pursuing regulation of the financial industry, but look at what he's dealing with in terms of health care reform. . . FROM BOTH PARTIES.
Good cop Bad cop. . . dude.
I think we need to pull out of Iraq and Afghanistan, stop helping Israel and allow Iran to develop whatever it wants. Israel can and will defend itself.
Our leaders and monied interests, however, have painted us into a corner from which there is very little chance of escaping.
Alexander Berkmann was correct. Most Americans are too bloody stupid and caught up in their individualism to realize what our leaders are doing.

Christian Conservative Sought for Tea-Bagging - m4m - 21 (Underneath your testicles)
Are you willing to place your scrotum on my head or face while haranguing me for my support of President Obama's healthcare initiative? Please touch the top of my head with your hairy balls while speaking your mind on topics such as gun control, abortion, taxes, immigration, prayer in public schools, and gay marriage!
If you're prepared to do these things, that's certainly a step in the right direction. Furthermore, I want you to tie me to a chair and then walk into the room holding a cup of hot water under yourself so that your testicles are dangling in the hot water. I want you to taunt me with filthy talk about how your tea-bags have been steeping in the water for a good long while, and then I want you to force me to drink the tea while calling me degrading names, like "Polly Prissy-Pants."
