USB Security
I've just bought a Sandisk Cruzer Contour 4GB USB drive which I foolishly thought was Mac compatible for password protection
It comes with a load of windoze software called U3 which I found a helpful program to remove. It's now a plain old USB drive.
Are there any decent softwares out there that will allow me to set a password for use on mac and PC for a USB drive without installing loads of software
Internet seems very messy on this topic.

How, pray tell, did you erase U3? I happen to be in the exact same situation. It survived a 35-pass DISK FORMATTING.
