Re: Governator F-Bomb

It was manipulated all around, yes.

Really sickening, because during the rolling blackouts, people died from the heat. I don't understand why people aren't in jail for homicide.

Re: Governator F-Bomb

Because the V.P. must have given assurances during his energy policy consulting.

And that's only the conspiracy theory.

Re: Governator F-Bomb

Who are you referring to?
Chenney?

The rolling blackouts and deaths occurred largely Summer 2000 before Bush/Chenney were elected.

Re: Governator F-Bomb

The cause of the energy shortage seems to have intentionally taking some plants off line for "maintenance" to cause a shortage.
I believe they even have audio recordings of the meetings where this was planned.

I am returning Assembly Bill 1176 without my signature.

For some time now I have lamented the fact that major issues are overlooked while many
unnecessary bills come to me for consideration. Water reform, prison reform, and health
care are major issues my Administration has brought to the table, but the Legislature just
kicks the can down the alley.

Yet another legislative year has come and gone without the major reforms Californians
overwhelmingly deserve. In light of this, and after careful consideration, I believe it is
unnecessary to sign this measure at this time.

Sincerely,
Arnold Schwarzenegger

Re: Governator F-Bomb

There was a segment on the Daily Show where the Governator appeared (unscheduled?) at a Democratic Party dinner. While he was making his speech/comments, Assemblyman Tom Ammiano (D-13th) supposedly shouted: "Kiss my gay ass!" Ammiano was the sponsor of Assembly Bill 1176.
