iDVD 5

I created a home movie DVD via iDVD 5 using DVD-R medium. It worked on desktop DVD player and on Mac. I just wonder does it work on Windows PC DVD player running Windows XP or newer? I know it does not work on PC running Windows 98 ( that is the last PC I have ).    Any idea?

Re: iDVD 5

it should work on ANY computer / dvd player regardless of OS ... the requirements:
The device has
-a mpeg decoder (hardware or software)
-a dvd drive that can read a dvd-r disc
-software to play dvds

It will work on a 98 / xp / vista/ 7 machine provided you have all the requirements.

Re: iDVD 5

Mrreet2001,

Thanks for your quick response.

I guess I just have to try it on other Windows PCs if I can find them!

Re: iDVD 5

Most Windows PCs don't ship with a DVD-decoder out of the box. (Some have one bundled.)
