Peanut Butter cures the hiccups!!
I was out all night at this sports bar watching the Yankee lose (damn it). The following day, I had this nasty case of hiccups (btw, I puked my brains out the night before, so I wasn't too hung over). Anyway, these god damned hiccups just would not go away. Then lunch time rolled around, and I fixed myself a fluffernutter --the hiccups went away after the first bite. Well that's a convenient coincidence, I thought to myself.
About an hour later, I cracked open a Dr. Pepper, and the hiccups came back after the first sip --Mother smurfer!! After a few more hours with these dreaded hiccups, I got desperate and googled hiccup remedies. There must've been thousands of "remedies" which allegedly work 100% of the time, yet everyone who tries them reports failure. Then, my eyes spotted something interesting: Peanut butter. I recalled that earlier in the day, my hiccups stopped immediately after eating the aforementioned fluffernutter. And what's in a fluffernutter? PEANUT BUTTER!!! I knew it was a long shot, but I was desperate. I grabbed a spoon from the kitchen drawer, a jar of Jif from the cubboard (creamy, not crunchy), plopped a spoonful in my mouth, and swallowed. WHAM-BAM-MONEYGRAM, my hiccups were vanquished!
I've been hiccup-free for the past half-hour, and now I'm spreading the word.

Wow, marshmallow cream and PB on toast sounds really really good right now.
I was thinking, maybe the proteins or the type of fat in the peanuts is what relaxes the diaphragm so the hiccups stop. That's a really interesting remedy. I'm no doctor, so that's just a theory.

It's taken us a whole fifteen posts to go from hiccup cures to guy-on-guy oral sex! We must be losing our edge.
