What evidence is there of pyramid builders besides the pyramids themselves? What does that evidence tell us?

I personally have never seen anything produced by ancient cultures which doesn't have a common sense explanation. Plus, ancient cultures were into slavery and murder. Screw ancient cultures.

I meant correct as in the explanation is supported by evidence and answers objections well rather than just "making sense" in isolation.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Actually, there's quite a bit of dispute over how the pyramids were actually built, how the labor force was organized, even over the rather odd carbon dates for the pyramids (pyramids used gypsum mortar, which was heated over wood fires-- thus carbon 13).
