The Right iPhone 3GS Case
Hey, I'm buying a 3GS next week and I was trying to find the right case for it. I want something most likely a solid color or something nice two tone with a glossy finish. That's exactly the size of the phone so it doesn't compromise it by making it larger. Also would like immediate access to the iPhone dock, or a detachable bottom lke a lot of these have for that purpose. Thanks guys.

I know sites, I'm just looking for one case in particular that meets that criteria.
And everything I ever bought that was made by Belkin failed.

Well i think the Metallico Series from Dsstyles will fit you as you like the solid color case.

Try the iGlaze from Moshi. The iGlaze is a cover for the back of your iPhone and comes in five colours. It includes a glossy film for the iPhone screen. The reason I like this cover is that it has a matte finish and a slim fit. Also it has a light texture to the cover. All the buttons on your iPhone are accessible and not covered including the Apple logo on the back of your iPhone. See my review of the iGlaze on my blog. Look under the label iPhone.

Re: The Right iPhone 3GS Case
Try the incase slider..

I have one, as do several friends, and we've been very happy with them. Very sleek and thin (Makes the phone a tiny bit larger, but not much) and the bottom can pop off for docking.
Why isn't anything raisin-flavored?

Otterbox. Then pour glue on it and throw some glitter or what-have-you on that. Haha. I would love to have a fancy case but I have to protect this investment.

Re: The Right iPhone 3GS Case
for the money, this is the best iphone case possible:
http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.14467
the lower pictures are what you get, I don't know why they have two different cases pictured. A soft case is ideal for drop protection as the screen is the #1 vulnerable point and the best way to protect it is with a soft cushion. Also, the slightly grippy rubber (it's the perfect balance, it doesn't rip your pocket inside out like some do) keeps it from sliding off of tables like an uncased iphone will do at the drop of a hat.

The otterbox will be anything but thin. Waterproof, virtually damage proof, yes, thin, not at all.

Re: The Right iPhone 3GS Case
If you're not dead fixed on having a glossy finish, check out Vaja's Classic Retro case; made of leather, is dockable, and highly durable.
Also, inCase and CaseMate have some nice thin glossy cases.

Re: The Right iPhone 3GS Case
I had a Vaja leather case on my old iPod. They are indeed beautifully made and offer some pretty good protection. They're also pretty expensive. I found mine used on ebay. I have one of the Speck cases with the nubs on it for my iPhone. It's kind of loose and the iPhone can slip out of it easily. It's protected it from a few drops but I think there are better form-fitting ones out there.

Re: The Right iPhone 3GS Case
I bought my Wife a Vaja for her birthday this year, and was surprised at how hard she has to press the Home button on the case to activate it on the phone. Other than that, it's pretty nice but I doubt I'd pay that much for one of theirs for every day use.
