WTH is a "smurf"?
i was in a game today where one of the folks on my team protested the other team was all "smurfs," and then promptly quit. we lost (no surprise there, i guess), but what is a "smurf"?

the simpe definition of a Battle.net "smurf" is someone lvl15+ (usually much higher than that even) playing witha fresh name and pretty mucyh toying with newBs. My friend doe sit to me all the time, only I know it's him, he doesn't use a new name he just challenges me to StarCraft and I play him. He can kill me in less than 10 minutes but it will usually take 15 because he would rather harass me, make me depressed, and pretty much do anything to mess with my brain and thne just kill me out of mercy. Anyways Smurfs are high level players who play under lowe level (10 or less) and own your ass like a billionaire at a 99

Yes, I agree that making new accounts and bashing newbs is quite entertaining.

but you can only actualyl get exp fomr bashing them until you are like 5, then they give you very little experience, but ah well, TOY WITH THEIR MINDS AND MAKE THEM WANNA JUMP OFF.... some random, tall, building of some.... sort....... yeah......

That's when you make another new account. And you get to play agnist a whole new group of n00bs, and a lot of other good players that are doing the exact same thing as you are...
