Flugtag
Has anyone here ever been to or participated in a flugtag event?
I saw that there is going to be one in Chicago later this year and I am intrigued. I am tempted to try to round up some people and enter, what with it being 100 years of flight this year and all.

OK, for those who haven't heard of it, a flugtag is basically where a bunch of people build their own flying machines (i.e. the 10 wing aircraft and cork screw helicopters you see in old film clips) and then fly them off a big ramp into a lake.
The flying machines must be only human powered (one pilot and a few people to push it down the runway if neccessary), and traditionally they actually do more falling than flying.

See, now that's what happens when you drink too much Red Bull.
Apparently, Red Bull does give you wings. They're just cheap-ass home-made airplane wings, and all they do is allow you to fall into a lake, but wings nonetheless.
