Re: Ways to get back at someone...

Im not sure where i heard this. maybe it was here on MAF...

Get some bottles of shaving cream. Freeze them. Cut them open. take out the pellets. And throw them on the inside of the car, glovebox, trunk, under the seats, and any other little stashes you can find. Do this early in the morning on a forcast for a hot day. The car will heat up and the shaving cream will expand with the help of the pressure in the car. MUAAHAHAHAH car filled with shaving cream!

Yes, and if they have a fabric interior, it's a bitch to get out.

I've done sugar in the gas tank before. I was too sloppy doing it, though, because the guy noticed sugar on the ground and so he didn't dare start his car... had it towed and pumped out, instead. Cost him $500 bucks. Serves him right for framing me for something completely different.

But no, the best one is this: put the car up on blocks, slit the top of the tires and pour cement into them. When they find their car up on blocks, they'll knock it down, grumble about you kooky kids and try to drive away.

They'll go 0-60 in about 10 minutes and get about 5 gallons to the mile; and they won't even know why! wink

Re: Ways to get back at someone...

Yes, but you can't just freeze the shaving cream, you have to dip it into liquid nitrogen with metal tongs before peeling the metal off and tossing them in.

Very high-maintenance revenge. Have you ever tried to acquire liquid nitrogen? Downright impossible for me.

Nah, never tried.

Back to bumper stickers:

"Jesus sucks.  Ask me why."  ...with their home phone number.

1. Resultant damage to car by angry people.
2. Furious calls from random irate people.

It's the best of both worlds.  big_smile

I think you think that Christians are violent people, or something. <o.O>

I mean really, Christians have been nothing but pacifists since the Crusades.  Well, after the Inquisition.  Er, after the Reformation.  Okay, after World War II, there has been... okay, aside from the abortion clinic bombings...  oh nevermind

Place the wheels flat on the gound under the car's axles
Lower car onto wheels

I take it you haven't tried to remove cement from a set of wheels.

Yours is more light-hearted, though. Something to do if you're aggrevated at them but don't want to do thousands of dollars worth of damage to their vehicle. smile

Seriously, though.  The point is that people get really touchy about their religions and to slam the major religion for any area is likely to be drawing their ire... towards the poor schlub that you stickered.  That's what would make this effective.

Look at your own reaction.  You jumped on it like a starving jackal on a rabbit.

That's more to the point, thanks. But why pick on Jesus? There's a great vast number of "Ones To Be Worshipped" that you can pick from, why Him?

Catholics vs. Protestants. The Catholics started it. tongue wink

First one off the top of my head.  Nothing personal against Him - but living in the USA, as I do, I thought that the bumper sticker with Him was most likely to raise ire... as it did.   smile

Ya, but it doesn't show that you've edited your post unless someone has posted after you.

The board has been fairly inconsistent with that. Sometimes it'll show something's been edited, sometimes it won't.

Point 1. Catholic = Christian, especially pre-reformation
2. Ask U.K. Catholics (especially the Irish) if Catholics were responsible for all the post-reformation violence.  Oh, and ask the Germans, the French...
2a. Cromwell
3.  Witch hunts in the American colonies were Protestant Christian-led
4.  Klan persecution of Catholics (because the Klan were "true Christians")
5. Paul Hill is a Presbyterian
6. He and Michael Griffin didn't seem to be "just slapping God's name" on anything any more than any other Christian, good or evil
