January 7 at 6pm theres a new store opening in Pasadena. Now for some of you this isnt important but for me who is in an area devoid of Apple Stores this is grand news!!. Pasadena isnt close but then again it isnt far either wink . Closer to my J.C. actually. I think I might try to make it to the grand opening event, anyother CA area MAers thinkin about checkin it out? big_smile

aww pooo, id want to go,... that would be fun, espically if they were giving away free stuff. only thing is, starting jan im going to be working tuesday nights also, and im doing closing till 9 15, so i probably wont be able to go.

Well if its any consolation to you, if I go the T-shirt probably wont even fit me. Everytime I get a freebee shirt or something they never have it in a XXL. Always a tiny lil large or XL sad . But hey if I get one and its too small i'll let you have it. Granted I can go and if im in the first 1000. smile

Uhhhh, there is still no Apple store down here in teh south (Nashville). I guess the Griffen Technology HQ is almost as good as an apple store. We also have a certifed apple retalior. Oh well

yeah, but how many more people/ buissness do we have then you?

its ok, i aggree, the apple stores at fasion island and south coast plaza are like, 15 - 20 mins from eachother, thats just crazy

On top of that, it's less than 15 minutes from the new store in Pasadena, to the original in Glendale, and only about 20 minutes farther to the one in Northridge.

I don't understand Apple's placement logic, either. There are 2 stores within 20 mins. of each other in northern Virginia (Tyson's Corner and Clarendon), but none in southeast Virginia (which is the 35th largest major metropolitan market in the U.S.). The best they can do down here is having Apple employees placed at CompUSAs, it seems.

I don't get it.

Dude, I dod not know that. I go up there to mtn bike all the time. I'll hafta chaeck it out next time. Why they chose German Town, I dont know. Oh well. I've still got Griffen.

Well if I can make it that night then maybe i'll run into ya Kirk. If I dont make it that night, i'll be sure to make it the following monday or tuesday. Classes start around then and Pasadena is only a few mins away from the college. But mark my words, I will visit that Apple Store at least once in my life!!! big_smile

Familiar enough to have driven from Pasadena, to Glendale, to Northridge, to Fashion Island in one day on an "Apple Store Quest". big_smile
