really not a rant, but a nostalgic twinge of loss over product(s) that are no longer available...

first, i was inspired by the now "missing gordita" at Taco Smell. i really liked that southwest gordita with its black beans, corn and pico-de-gayo.

you bastards, i want it back.

BUT, what i really miss. is the Dorito Thins. did you ever get those? they were doritos flavors on thin, white corn tortilla chips.

i especially miss the "salsa and cheese" flavor.

bastards.

now they have "guacamole flavor" chips. you just know they will be good, and then they will take them off the market.
i refuse to even try them.

those foods will probably kill you anywayz. so maybe the reason they take them off the market is because if they're around too long, too many people will start dying.

Side note: HOLY CRAP! I can't believe how many of these old cereals I saw while hunting these pix up were "Sugar Smacks" and "Sugar Pops" and boldly described as "Sugar coated this" and "Sugar sprinkled that" and "Corn flakes with a Magic Sugar Coating"...

Sugar sugar sugar sugar sugar...

Good thing things have changed now-a-days. We just don't SAY sugar so much (but there's likely just as much fructose, glucose and other 'oses as ever)

I miss chocolate soda.
(if it's still available anywhere, please let me know)
{{EDIT: I've been able to find chocolate soda, but the one in particular that I remember was clear (like Sprite)...I can't find that one}}

I miss banana Quik (milk mix).
(ditto for that one)

I miss Jolt cola (it's not as available as it used to be).
(I can find Jolt...it's just a lot less convenient)

...there's probably a whole list of other stuff, but those are the things that pop into my head immediately.
