Yogourt
Yeah, I'm eating plain yogourt with Quaker Harvest Crunch cereal and raisins as we speak. I eat LOTS of it, maybe too much, I don't know.
So, do you all like yogourt? What type/flavour/brand? My favorite is homemade with fresh blueberries and raspberries

Re: Yogourt
mm that blueberry and raspberry yogurt sounds good!
My favorite store bought is Dannon or Yoplait Vanilla Yogurt. I like Vanilla but certain brands taste better than others. What is the best brand for vanilla?
But lately my parents have been buying this Cascade Fresh stuff because it has no added sugar. I dont like it that much but I will eat it.

Re: Yogourt
Yea, our store has only like 4 different brands, that not being one of them. Sounds good though! I'll have to try Blaze's method with plain yogurt!

Re: Yogourt
that's weird. I just created a thread about cereal without noticing this one. It's quite a coincidence that you mentioned "Quaker Harvest Crunch cereal".

Re: Yogourt
Best brand? The one with the liveliest culture of course. None of this dead bacteria for me for me. I want to hear my yogurt scream while I chow down on it.
That said, the best depends on what your taste in yogurt is. I prefer my yogurt "looser" than most here (sort of like really thick milk) so I tend not to like most of the grocery store brands. I also like the culture to be active since the yogurt tastes better (and that's what makes yogurt yogurt and not plain old milk).

Re: Yogourt
My favorite would be banana-strawberry Yoplait. I also like the Stonyfield Farms 'drinkable' variety. I also like plain with granola or some other dry cereal food sometimes too. I can eat a thing of Yoplait in under 20 seconds.

You should try it!!!
Another thing I love is taking yogurt (any kind, but I have only done it with strawberry) and mixing it with apple juice (or any kind of your chioce) makes a good drink.
you might like that jyri or kingal.
You can also make a smoothie with vanilla yogurt by adding fruit and some juice and blending it in the blender.

Re: Yogourt
i usually buy flavoured (all natural fruits) yoghurt and eat it by the litre tub, but if i can only get plain, i run some black current juice thru it makes it nice then.

Re: Yogourt
Stonyfield and Brown Cow make a great vanilla yogurt.
Has anyone here ever been to France? I hear the markets over there have whole aisles devoted to yogurt.

Yogurt is disgusting - and I'm a big fan of most dairy products.
But I will have to say that Trix yogurt is the most god-awful food product ever devised. I think that General Mills recruited some ex-Nazi scientists away from cloning Hitler's brain to make this yogurt for them. It is mind-boggingly hideous.

I can't say that my expectations in that case would have been high enough for me to be disappointed to find that out. I wonder if kids like it at all.
I like Stonyfield Farms yogurt. I sometimes eat it plain, but a lot of times I sprinkle either wheat germ or Grape-Nuts on it.
