Website two issues behind print????
I understand that there aren't a lot of resources for keeping up the website. However, if you are going to fall two issues behind Current issue link it is probably a better idea to remove this section from the web site rather than look unprofessional by being this far behind?
I'm really not looking for explanations regarding how little funds you have to provide upkeep to the website. I understand this. What I am saying is that someone on your staff should take 20 or 30 minutes to look at your website (which hasn't chnaged in years) and simply decide if certain things should be removed because you don't have the manpower to keep them current.

Yeah, I agree. If the website is going to be divorced from the mag (content-wise and essentially corporate-wise) it should at least lose the vestiges. It reflects poorly on the magazine.
I still believe in liberalism today as much as I ever did, but, oh, there was a happy time when I believed in liberals.

Absolutely. And, for my eyes sake, can we please lose the ugly ass green color that we have had since the days of the original iBooks.

HEY! Do NOT diss the green! That was around a LONG time before the iBooks! MA #1 had the beautiful Purple and Green theme that was the hallmark of this magazine during its "fun and offbeat" years!

I am going to diss the green because it is about time for the change. Now, for a little history:
The lime green iBook was released in September 2000 and here is macaddict.com in October 2000 and in December 2000
Current look from February 2001
Original green from 1996
Your beloved purple and green (pukeworthy green) circa 1997

We're a couple of days away from a design refresh of the entire Web site -- Niko's been a-bustin' his hump getting it ready.
Stay tuned...

The MA staff remembers the existence of the website!

I liked the eye-melting green version. I always knew when I had a macaddict.com browser window open...

That is great to hear. BTW, great job on the August issue of the magazine!

That's kinda like smoking. You get used to it. But no one around you does.

The front page is good, but now the rest of the site has to be updated.
