Quicktime Streaming...
Not sure where to post this, but its for a PC so this seemed like the right place ^_^.
I have a computer that when ever it clicks on a link to a url of a movie (I'm doing a project on advertising and want a link to a bmw film trailer stream in my power point presentation) it opens up "real player" (what a piece of junk), and then doesn't run it. I know the link works (rtsp://a1009.v81222.c8122.g.vq.akamaistream.net/7/1009/8122/v002/fallonqt.download.akamai.com/8122/hire2/streaming/trailers/Hostage_QT_300k.mov), because if you put in the url box in QuickTime it finds it and streams it. What I want is someway of ploping into to my presentation (if any of you happen to have a download location for such a trailer, that would work too!). I'm thinking of linking to quicktime and then doing a command after "exe" to have it autostart the movie in the url (like -w for windowed mode in most video games). Any help would be greatly apperciated!
