I agree but I also know that my addictions (to anything I get involved in) can rapidly supplant my interest in "real life" and people.
Relationships on-line are easier than real face to face relationships. Avoidance of reality is convenient.

Seriously, good luck. Maybe you could get her a Mac too. That's what worked for me. Now my wife is in the same room as me but she plays the Sims 24/7.

What compels you to take on the role of "MAF mixer" exactly? It's not your place to judge on these events or try and dredge up past events. I fail to see the purpose in bringing up this thread, it doesn't really have any relevance.
