Don't saddle up for the iTrip yet. An Apple rep told me that in his city, it was hard to find a good frequency to use with his iTrip. He said he would have used a cassette adaptor if his car had a cassette player. If you're in the desert, I suppose an iTrip is okay.
The best way is to get a direct connect, wherever that is.
How about a Firewire case and a 200 G drive to put it in.

Yeah the iTrip doesn't work very well, like every 20 feet we have to change the channel. And thats in Hawaii...not like California or anything.
