ibook backpack?
As the subject suggests, I'm looking for suggestions to an ibook carrying case in the form of a backpack. I've seen a couple, but I was hoping for your *humble* opinion.

Re: ibook backpack?
Good question... I have 12" inch iBook I just started carrying around campus with me at college. If I could slip it into the same laptop as my books and folders rather than carry an extra briefcase-like bag I'd love it.
What have you found so far?

Re: ibook backpack?
Someone here once recomended this place to me. I'm not sure if they make backpacks, but I am really happy with bag/sleeve combo I ordered from them. The site is cool too; you can customize everything. The sleeve I got was custom made for the TiBook but I'm pretty sure there is an iBook one too...

Let me know if you guys get one of them, I may start looking into one as well. My Brenthaven Mobility case needs a break.

Re: ibook backpack?
I ended up with an "EASTPAK" Chaos model. Found it for $25 at TJ Max.
This has a well padded pocket in the back that fits a 12" iBook perfectly. The 14" would also fit. There is another full size pocket for books, etc. Finally there is a mini pocket for pens, an iPod, etc.
One big advantage is the shoulder straps distribute the weight properly. The spine padding also works.
Good luck.

I have that same Eastpak chaos. Its cool. Its very well built and i think it could last forever, it has alot of space for books, small pocket for Discman, cellphone keyes and stuff like this and a padded sleve for laptop.
Im a student and i use this bag to carry my notebooks (oldschool paper notebooks
) and iBook to school and back and so far i like it.
Besides. It is cheap. Much cheaper than most "made specialy for laptops" bags and quality is the same or better.

I made my laptop bag with a $15 oldnavy bag and some padding from an applecare box. Economically friendly and enviromentally sound with a snug fit that does not scream mug me for my machine..........just the city guy in me.
