UT2003 and latest patch
I updated UT2003 with the latest patch (I am using Panther). Now I'm finding that when trying to connect online, UT2003 often quits while or right after a map loads. Didn't happen before the patch. Once in a while a server will let me in, it'll play fine and then the game quits when changing maps. Nothing freezes, the game just quits. Are there preferences I can trash? Anybody experiencing the same thing? Any ideas? Thanks in advance for your help...I use a G4 1.4 dual...RC

Re: UT2003 and latest patch
I'm getting serious network trouble since applying the patch. Servers I regularly visited now often bump me from the game, while leaving the map still up on the screen. I've written to MacSoft, they asked me for server IPs I was having trouble with. That's all for now.

Re: UT2003 and latest patch
Got a couple of threads of this going.
1. After updating UT2K3 trash or rename (so you can later open the old files and copmare to the new ones) the User.ini and UT2003.ini files in the ~/Library/Application Support/Unreal Tournament 2003/System folder.
2. In the Settings screen under the Network tab make sure the correct speed is set for your connection and if you are on a high speed connection (Cable/DSL, T1/LAN) UNcheck the Dynamic Netspeed button just just below the netspeed popup.
I don't know if this will solve any of your poblems but it is easy enough to try.
