Re: problems sending protiens

Just give it some time.  It takes awhile sometimes.

Re: problems sending protiens

Look in ~/Library/Folding@home/work/ and see if there are any files that say results.  If so, then they haven't been sent in.  Try stopping the client and restarting it.

Re: problems sending protiens

Another thing occurs to me as well, I remember you saying that you mainly run OS9......therefore you don't run Folding all that much...Folding has time limits on it's work units.....I'm wondering if your seeing the side effect of turning in units late?  Supposedly you still get points for the work, but maybe the unit count doesn't go up? confused

Re: problems sending protiens

i checked in the folder, and i have logfile_01(and 03).txt, and a bunch of wudata.stuff(there is 11 documents that start with that)

i just checked and i now have one unit tunred in according to the page. from the info provided id say its safe to assume that my first unit timed out (it took me a couple months to finish that one, now i boot into x a few times a week (for dev tools)) and i have it set to have folding come on at start up, so its all good. i dont really mind loosing one work unit because seti has always been my big thing(which explains why i have nearly 400 units done for that when i just started actually doing that towards the end of the summer)

anyways, thanks for all the help smile

one more question. approx how long would it take to finish a unit on a 933 g4?

and what do the points mean??  this page says that i have 6.4 points after one unit while there are people who have done double digit units and have less points then me?
