a totalt noob

I a little dissapointed to find no instruction how to become a seti user...
Seen it a while back at a friends house and now I run into this board..

I'm using an Imac (OSX) that is on most of the day and wouldn't mind using it to find some more friends (et and the like) let me know how to start

Re: a totalt noob

a quick search got me on the right direction and now I am aother seti@home member..
few q's though : does it work all the time or only as a screen saver?
Doesn't it take too much resources from my ol' Imac?

I'm now heading to join the Macaddict seti team...

How do you mean? Moderators can't force people to come in and post...

I refer you to a previous Thread

That'd be four days and eight hours.

In all honesty you probably won't catch up. We're all crunching, too. (I refer you to all of the "mine-is-bigger-than-yours" threads.)

Welcome to the team.
