Re: It's Up...It's Here...Enjoy the UT2K3 Goodness!
hey levi jsut so you know
i was getting a bunch of maps off the server
only snag i ran into was the "hourmeshstuffx3" texture file when addien-dwy was up. it just refused to send
i jsut got a bunh of the maps off the links that doc provided.
i can put some of the big ones up on my .Mac space if anyone would like me to. i paid for it, might as well put it to use.
just got a "server refused to send" with face][_v2

Llevi,
I'm not sure if you got my PM or not, but your server isn't showing up in the server spy script I wrote. Other UT2k3 servers show up just fine. Do you know if your server shows up in the in-game server list?No my server is not set to "broadcast" or I think the correct technical term is "connect to the Epic Master server." I have set to pivate, just like MA2 used to be.
I forget if the UT2K3 server list has this functionality, but I know it is in UT. Your server should return basic info about the game when queried, even if it doesn't report to the master server list.
If you add the server to your favorites, can you see basic info about the server (ie: who is on the server, what maps are running, the server name, etc)?

For Llevi's server too?
Llevi, if you can please check your config file for the server, and make sure 'DoBeacon' is True under [IpDrv.UdpBeacon] in the server's ini file.

Yes, indeed I walked into a nice blue screen this morning. It took Win2KPro over a half hour just to get a login screen. Just so I could hit check disk and reboot. Check disk started around 9AM CST and it's now 2:30. I hope to be up tonight, we'll just have to see.

There is a program called UCC in the UT2003 system folder. I don't think it ever made it to the Mac side, but for Windoze ppl that is what you use. For Mac folk, I'll get back to you, unless someone beats me to it. I gotta do some research to make sure my answer it accurate.
BTW the server is down. I have to rebuild the OS, it will not live after this last blue screen. I hope to have it back up by the weekend. Now is the time I wish UT2003 would let you drag copy like UT did, but no I have to do a whole reinstall of it too!

In my quest to answer Pur question I've found a new bonus pack. The first post is updated and I hope to include it on the server when I get it back into action.
