Re: Matrix Revolutions

ok help me out here, i just watched the matrix revolutions.

at the end..are all the enslaved people actually freed?

or did the matrix just rebuild itself and the cycle start over?
where there is still the machine world and all the slave people still live in the matrix?
confused

Well, here's how I understand it... feel free to correct/dispute me.

The machines and humans are now at peace, meaning there will no longer be any battles in the real world. There is no longer a need for agent suppression within the matrix because (and here is the big point) the machines will allow the humans to free any minds that they please. It stands to reason that a lot of people wouldn't be able to handle being pulled out of the matrix. If I remember the first matrix correctly, it takes a special sort of person to make the transition from the matrix to the real world, and the younger they are, the easier they can make this transition. The people who have the natural inclination to reject the matrix will go, while the ones who cling to the false reality and can not accept the real world will remain jacked in and will continue providing the machines power.

It appears that Neo returned to the source and the Matrix was reset, ready to begin another cycle, but the big difference in this cycle is that the machines are allowing people to be freed.
