It ain't all peaches and cream.  But I'm partially at fault for that.  Sooner or later, things are bound to get better.  shrug

Re: How are you doing?

I'm as busy as I can be.  I'm working two jobs and am just a few weeks away from graduating.  I've got so much to do, I daren't even think about it.

I just got a new (to me) car which is very handy, seeing how I've been needing to travel hundreds of miles these last few weekends.

In December I'm going to Orlando with my dad.  We're going to Disney World and such.  He's paying.  I'm planning to have fun.

Yesterday Aaron and I celebrated our sixth anniversary.  We ate a good meal, and played video games and watched Jason X.  I love my Aaron.

So, although I don't have much time to relax right now, I'm doing pretty well.  I'm a bit apprehensive about my future being that all I've known for the past 20 years is school, but I already have a good job waiting for me, so I can't worry too much.

Don't worry Dream.  It may take some time, but you'll find your way in life.  You're a smart guy with a big heart.  I don't worry about you in that respect one bit.   up

At present, I am a very happy PuddleMoneky. I'm sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace cuddling with my Wookiee and watching the snow fall outside.

Re: How are you doing?

Alright. Currently I'm editing a wedding video that I said I've had done a month ago. Feel like I haven't even started it. Mostly because weddings really, really depress me. Doesn't help that it was one of my bullies from high school and a stuck-up cheerleader taking the altar.

It reinforces my loneliness and the fact that I spend more time out of my day talking to complete strangers on the internet more than I do sleeping and I'm enjoying the internet people more than meatworld people.

I've come to the conclusion that people in the meatworld just annoy me, and I have no desire to go out and get around/wasted/laid/party/vandalize with the little hooligans. I'd rather sit here and type.

Okay. So my WPM has increased an additional 40 in the last two months. And I can type 20 WPM on my cellphone. I guess that's positive.

Re: How are you doing?

Life is..strange. In some ways, I'm happier these days than ever before. Being a freshman in college is great. For the first time in my life, I'm something close to popular: I have friends, and they come and find me when they want to hang out. I don't feel like just another hanger on with no one he can really talk to. My classes are all ok, I'm not overly stressed, and even the dorm food is acceptable.

I suppose the only real downside to it is that I seem to be perpetually attracted to one person who isn't attracted to me at all. And, all things considered, that's not all that big a problem, even if it is painful.

Life goes on. I'm thankful for what I have and where I am.

Re: How are you doing?

I'm doing alright. Tonight I'm going to two concerts of my friends' thrash group, Fruit Salad. That's gonna be fun. But tomorrow, I'm gonna have a bunch of work. That's kind of lame. School is still pretty hard, but I guess I can handle it. Soon, I'll have applied to college and that will be one less thing to worry about.

I get to see my girlfriend, finally, for thanksgiving, so that's really awesome and exciting.

Right now I am sniffling and sneezing and blowing me nose! Sudden allergy. And partly due to the change in weather down here. It's warm the other day and cool the next. Right now the temp is droppng to the 60s. But it feels nice outside.

Great. I'm getting divorced.

Trust me, this is a good thing.

couldn't be happier. Walking on air.

God I cant wait to sign the damned papers and get back to enjoying life instead of hating every freaking minute of it.

Other wise things are great. Just polished off a six pack and smoked a little weed so I'm feeling better now.

Wow, are you like Kevin Spacey in "American Beauty"?  If so, that's awesome.

Uh yeah sure...

My wife and I agreed to give one more go. We both conceded points and headway was made. May the farce be with us...

Re: How are you doing?

I'm winning another auction for an OOP CD I have that is damaged - this is a better album, it sells used for about $30.00 normally - but it looks like I can get for about $10.00 so that makes me happy. Assuming no one outbids me in the next 18 hours.

Got it for $10.00 - so now I'm really happy big_smile

Re: How are you doing?

Life is good.  Every now and then I am struck by how much I enjoy my work - now it's about to get interesting with the ice and snow, but that just gives me the excuse to do the internal happy dance every time I achieve No Contact (i.e. no part of my bus makes contact with anything other than pavement - I hate filling out paperwork).  My wife is lovely and treats me far better than I deserve, and my youngest daughter pronounced me the meanest dad in the world earlier this evening, which tells me I'm doing something right.

I know this is unsolicited advice and can therefore be assumed worthless, but I recommend heartily to dream that you get out of college without burning your bridges behind you.  Far better to take some time working, learning, figuring out what your priorities are before investing in a very expensive piece of paper that may turn out to have no relevance to you - or worse, doing what I did and keep registering for classes while gradually getting more and more uninterested...

Re: How are you doing?

Life is good. I married a wonderful woman Sept. 6, and my ex-strife is being a little better about allowing me to see my two girls more often. I can pay my bills and still get a cup of coffee in the morning, but money is tight.
work is alright, but the people I work with are dorks and hacks. (Except a couple of them.)

My biggest challenge these days is trying to become a better man.

Re: How are you doing?

As usual, I'm bored out of my skull socially.  It's times like this my mind wonders and I ponder why I even bother - every day is just like the last, monotonous work/school filled events working towards the day I can just work for a living.. *yay*.  Life is soooo worth living.  roll
