Need Help:
A friend at work has Windows 2000 and wants to delete his previous searches that pop up when he is running a "find file" or whatever it's called in Win2000. My OS at work is Windows 98, and his search options are diferent from mine.
Any suggestions?

Re: Need Help:
I don't run w2k either, but one way would be to run regedit and choose 'Edit>find' and look for the name of a searched file. He might find the search contents in:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Microsoft/Windows/CurrentVersion/Explorer/DOC Find Spec MRU
That may not be the actual location of the search log in W2K, but the method for finding it will work. Here he can delete the names of the searched files. It's not the best way to do it, but without W2K in front of me, it's one I can come up with right now.
It's not a movie.
