Warning

Hey guys, just wanted to warn you guys about a guy who broke the most important rule(dbaj) of online play.

This players name was Roadkill. He's accused of Spwan killing, portal camping, weapon killing(killing for a specific weapon), and most of all(his biggest offense) Teamkilling more than 100 times.

If you see him and he begins to do this, ask for an admin immeaditly. If no admin is avaible, than leave.

just let y'all know.

Re: Warning

Is there any way to vote people to be kicked off the server? Does the host even have control over kicking people off? On two occasions I've had TKers on my team that just totally ruined the game. I have yet to figure out how to get these idiots kicked off the server.

The last one I remember was Zeke. Watch out for him. If you get a sniper rifle before he does, he'll TK you for it. I got revenge by pistol whipping his back as he was about to snipe his target. Then he starts cursing like a little baby about it. What's sad is that he's not even good with it. I got more kills than he did with the sniper rifle that match.

If there's anything I can't stand in Halo, it's the damn TKers. Especially ones that suck.

Re: Warning

Anybody who's admin on their own server can enforce all the usual rcon commands, if they know how. I haven't seen anything about voting yet, time to Google!

Mac 1.03 will be here soon enough and has better control over that type of thing.

Halo doesn't label your teammates? I know on the Xbox the default option was for those green triangles to be pointing over your teammates heads.

There are unmistakeable green triangles over the heads of your teammates.  That, and the fact that they are always the same color as you.

Re: Warning

I think he meant that the game doesn't identify your teammates by name...

Re: Warning

Yeah, you need to point your crosshairs at a teammate and then wait for a second or two in order to identify them. It makes communicating with specific teammates a pain in the ass. The chat is also limited in the number of characters, and the text is so damn big and disappears quickly. Unless you have voice chat software installed, team communication isn't one of Halo's strong points. You just have to hope that your teammates coordinate an attack carefully.

Re: Warning

I think he was talking about third party applications that work with any app.

Yeah, there was a doofus pretending to be a palestinian or something whose job was to destroy the fun of western gamers. Okay. I said, "FREE PIZZA" a couple times and he left.

So the moral is that tkers are hungry so if they think free pizza is available they will leave.
