In this thread my roommate and I will show you how to do what you've always wanted to do, but never knew you did: make your very own toque, beanie, stocking cap, whatever you want to call it, out of a hockey sock. This tutorial will give you a two layer toque from a standard knit hockey sock. You

that's pretty cool! too bad wearing a toque makes me look even more like a dork than usual I see from the Habs flag that there is at least one hockey fan there with taste

Interesting thread, I wish I was that creative or actually had time to put any effort into it. meh, can't find any socks which colours match my uni's cheesey 'crimson' colour... looks like I'll have to nag a friend whos a sewing geek into making a darker dyed one
