Re: Any guitar players?

My inexpensive, yet great sounding setup. Simple and versatile (unless you are an effects junkie).

Epiphone faded cherry SG with Gibson pickups
Alvarez RD8 Acoustic

Peavey Deuce - 120w 2x12 tube amp.

Dunlop CryBaby wah
Boss DS-1 Distortion pedal

-the amp gets a distortion that is great for some balsy blues. I use the boss pedal to get a good metal distortion, or tweak ut for a good classic hard rock sound i.e. Deep Purple.
-the amp also has reverb, and phaser, so it can get wacky enough to pull off some hendrix if need be.

my next purchases:
-replacing the speakers in the amp with some Celestions.
-also need to think about replacing the tubes.

Half a bee, philosophically, must ipso facto half not be.  But half the bee, has got to be, vis a vis its entity.  Do you see?  But can a bee, be said to be, or not to be, an entire bee, when half the bee is not a bee, due to some ancient injury?

Re: Any guitar players?

For me:

Epiphone Les Paul Studio

Mesa Boogie Dual Rectifier Solo Head w/ 4x12 Mesa Recto Cab

Morley Little Alligator Volume Pedal
Dunlop CryBaby Classic Wah Pedal

And once I save up some more cash (just bought the Recto, so I'm low)

ESP Ltd Deluxe EC-1000
-going to replace the neck pickup with an EMG-60 and add an EMG Afterburner circuit for 20dB boost.
